During our tour of the land, we were able to reach the remains of the home of Samuel Ajayi Crowther, in the old Osoogun settlement.

What is left is one side of the mud wall and probably the only wall standing in the old Osoogun settlement.
The government, as we were told brought a sign board to the place about 40years ago, with the intention of doing something in the old settlement to develop the Village, but alas, nothing was done about it. The sign board itself is a shadow of itself.
We also saw, on the way to the old Osoogun settlement, the big Baobab tree that Ajayi Crowther was tied when He was captured.
