We also visited the only health facility in the community. It was initially founded and owned by the Anglican communion. The management and ownership was then transferred to the state government which procured two ambulances for the facility. The state government however transferred management rights to the local  government, after that transition, the facility began to deteriorate to what it is today. The ambulances were withdrawn. The doctors and nurses who worked in the facility also withdrew their services. The facility is currently within the care of a commissioned heath worker and some other adhoc staffs.
The facility has doctors and nurses quarters, a garage, the children's ward, maternity and dispensary, a giant generator among others. The hospital which was described to be the glory of Osoogun is now partly in shambles with blown roofs, falling walls, overgrown weeds
